About

This is never a really important page… unless you are wondering who in the world I am for putting together a site like this. My name is Rich and I am a former professor at Dallas Baptist University in Dallas, TX. I began building websites for some non-profit groups in the late 1990’s from a book I picked up at Barnes and Noble called “Learn HTML in 24 Hours.” In fact, about a month ago I saw they were still selling it.

Things have evolved and changed significantly in the last dozen years. People do not have time to try and learn everything on their own. They need a mentor, a tutor, or at least an instructor who can keep them on the bleeding edge of technology and putting themselves at the head of the pack.

I speak with folks every month who are wanting to start their own websites, but are clueless in how to do it. I highly recommend Dreamweaver as the place to start and finish. It is the perfect program for both beginning and high level expert. I guess that is why they have been #1 for so many years now.

Along with my recommendation to get Dreamweaver CS4 is also my recommendation to get the AskBrianWoods or Dreamweaver Made Simple set. Just refer to the home page for more details. They come with my highest recommendation for learning this software program… and not just learning it, but mastering it.
